Our End of June/ July Happenings

You would think with all the time I spend in bed, I would blog more. Well, we had a busy last month or so. Caleb turned 2, I can't believe it. He had a couple of birthday parties. On his birthday we did cupcakes with Cars candles as you can see, he didn't care as much about the cupcakes as about getting to play with the candles after he blew them out.

Caleb's next birthday party at mom & dad's, more cupcakes for Caleb, he loves those things.

Caleb had swimming lessons for all of July. He just loved it, definitely a fish in water.

Brandon, Caleb & my dad out on the river in California. We were at my sister's house and we asked Caleb, want to go on the boat? His eyes got really big and said boat, boat and ran towards the door. When they were out on the boat and when my dad stopped Caleb decided to abandon ship and jump in, he just loves the water.

Popsicles on a hot day, what a fun mess!

4th of July at mom & dad's house. Caleb watched the fireworks from the boat in the garage and then rode his bike around the backyard.

My sister Jen's bridal shower in California. It was a great day and so nice to see so many family and friends.

The next day we had a birthday party for Caleb and a baby shower for our little girl. Caleb loved his cake, but we left the sheetcake next to him also, so he would take one bite from his plate and another from the sheet cake. He was so spoiled by our family and we felt so greatful for all they do for us.

Our gardens this year have taken off. It's been so fun to go out and pick peas, carrotts, green beans and tomatoes. Caleb tries to help, he asks when he sees the snap peas or green beans if they are chips, we tell him they're better than chips, he doesn't think so.
